Tangled (2010) – Having received healing powers from a magical flower, baby Princess Rapunzel is abducted from the palace at night by Mother Gothel. Aware that the flower’s magic now resides in Rapunzel’s golden locks, Mother Gothel locks her in a hidden tower to harness the rejuvenating properties. As a teenager, Rapunzel’s hair has grown to an astonishing 70 feet. Despite spending her entire life in the tower, she becomes increasingly curious about the outside world. One day, the bandit Flynn Ryder scales the tower and is captured by Rapunzel. Striking a deal with the charming thief, Rapunzel convinces Flynn to serve as her guide to the location of the floating lights that appear every year on her birthday. Thus begins Rapunzel’s thrilling and magnificent journey beyond the tower walls.
