Fast X (2023): In the year 2021, Dominic Toretto and his team receive a request from the Agency to carry out a mission in Rome, involving the theft of a computer chip during its transportation. While the rest of the team embarks on the journey to Rome, Dom and his wife Letty Ortiz decide to stay behind, taking care of their son Brian “Little B” Marcos. However, their plans are disrupted when a wounded Cipher shows up at Dom’s home. She reveals that Dante Reyes, the son of the late drug lord Hernan Reyes, has turned against her crew under the threat of harm to their loved ones. Dante intends to exact revenge on Dom for his father’s death and the loss of his family’s fortune a decade ago.
Little Nobody apprehends Cipher but discloses to Dom and Letty that there was no official Agency mission in Rome. It becomes clear that Dante has set them up, prompting Dom and Letty to undertake a daring rescue mission for their team members.
Meanwhile, in Rome, Dante traps the team in a truck rigged with a bomb. Dom and Letty give chase, with the bomb endangering the city streets. To minimize the potential damage, Dom takes decisive action and pushes the bomb into the Tiber River.
